A former woodwork and maths teacher, latterly at Strutts before retirement, Dev still enjoys working with wood to create beautiful objects out of indigenous timbers as well as a few from more exotic ones.
These are very tactile, with amazing patterns in the grain.
He has also become an adventurous creator of Jam!.
This is a craft indeed, calculating proportions of more unusual combinations of fruits, and producing more traditional ones also.
